Can children aged 1-11 join group lessons at TXSNOW?

A: Yes.

B: Group lessons are not allowed, but 1V2 lessons are possible.

No. Due to the crowded ski resorts and higher risks, all TXSNOW products for children aged 1-11 are 1V1 to ensure the instructor's full attention and care are focused on the child at all times. This minimizes accident risks and prioritizes safety above all.

What is your reason for joining TXSNOW?

Does TXSNOW still need instructors?

A: Yes, we always need instructors! Feel free to recommend friends and family to apply at any time!

B: No, we are no longer hiring.

What are the certification requirements for KM instructors? (Multiple choices allowed)

A: Toddler (1-4 years old): Minimum 50 hours of on-snow teaching experience; or at least 10 hours of on-snow teaching experience + 40 hours of teaching experience in other sports; or being a parent + minimum 10 hours of on-snow teaching experience.

B: little Hero (5-7 years old): Minimum 50 hours of on-snow teaching experience; or at least 10 hours of on-snow teaching experience + 40 hours of teaching experience in other sports; or being a parent + minimum 10 hours of on-snow teaching experience.

C: Big Brave (8-11 years old): Minimum 30 hours of on-snow teaching experience; or at least 10 hours of on-snow teaching experience + 20 hours of teaching experience in other sports; or being a parent + minimum 10 hours of on-snow teaching experience.

What are the options available for the 1-11 years old Kids Master Program? (Multiple choices allowed)

A: Toddler (1-4 years old): • 45-minute KM lessons. • 45-minute lessons + 75 minutes of Worry-Free Childcare in a 2-hour package. • Hourly Worry-Free Childcare service. • Mix & match any of the above three options.

B: little Hero (5-7 years old): • 90-minute KM lessons. • 90-minute lessons + 30 minutes of Worry-Free Childcare in a 2-hour package. • Hourly Worry-Free Childcare service. • Mix & match any of the above three options.

Will TXSNOW assign students to instructors?(Multiple choices allowed)

A: TXSNOW prioritizes assigning students to top-performing instructors in sales, those with high engagement scores on social media, or exclusive signed instructors.

B: TXSNOW encourages instructors to develop their personal brand (IP) by promoting themselves on social media platforms like Instagram, interacting with the official account, and engaging through likes, shares, and comments to attract students.

C: TXSNOW does not guarantee student assignments. Instructors can see lesson booking information in the group chat and accept bookings at any time.

What is the KM Worry-Free Childcare Service? (Multiple choices allowed)

A: Children need time to practice after their lessons, but when skiing alone, they may gradually forget the techniques they’ve learned. Practicing with an instructor can significantly help maintain the learning results.

B: Many children are "watchers." Even without formal lessons, they can learn a lot by following the instructor and skiing in a low-pressure, enjoyable environment.

C: For parents who don’t ski and are uneasy about their child skiing alone, this service ensures someone is there to take care of the child, giving parents a chance to relax.

D: For parents who ski but need to constantly supervise their child, this service allows them to enjoy their own solo skiing time and focus on improving their skills.

E: Parents who usually don’t have the time or opportunity to take photos or videos of their child can use this service to have the instructor capture beautiful skiing moments.

F:  Once the child is familiar with the instructor, the instructor can accompany the child for the entire day, including skiing, eating, restroom breaks, and chatting, freeing up the parents entirely.

Are there rewards for referring students or selling lessons? (Multiple choices allowed)

A: Referring a new student who is not already in the TXSNOW database and successfully purchases any TXSNOW product will earn the instructor a CAD $10 referral bonus.

B: Selling a 2-hour lesson will earn the instructor a CAD $10 bonus, and selling lessons under 2 hours will earn a CAD $5 bonus per lesson.

C: No bonuses are provided.

What is the Freestyle Guiding Service for 12+ and adults? (Multiple choices allowed)

A: The student is a teenager aged 12-18, and parents are still uneasy about letting them ski alone, so they prefer having an instructor accompany them.

B: The student is a "watcher" type who doesn’t need formal lessons but wants an instructor to guide them while ensuring their techniques are practiced correctly.

C: Most of my friends are skiers, and I’m a snowboarder, so we can’t ski together. I’d like to find a skilled instructor or partner to accompany me on the slopes.

D: I have high standards for skiing and enjoy skiing with skilled partners. Whenever I go out, I want a Level 2/3/4 instructor to ski with me.

E: I usually don’t have anyone to take photos or videos of me. I’d like to hire an instructor to accompany me and capture my cool skiing moments.

F: I’m building an outdoor social media channel and shooting short videos. I want my videos to feature a group of highly skilled skiers or snowboarders skiing alongside me.

Will TXSNOW instructor salaries be discounted along with course discounts? (Multiple choices allowed)

A: For the 24-25 snow season, all instructor salaries will not be affected by discounts on courses.

B: Exceptions apply to the 10% discount codes instructors can provide to friends and family up to three times per month, instructor pay will be 90% of normal pay.

C: Courses from the previous snow season that have not yet been completed will follow the previous season’s discount rules until the lessons are finished.

Can instructors teach without wearing the instructor uniform?

A: Yes.

B: No. Instructors are not allowed to teach without the uniform. The session will not count for points or salary, and the instructor will be required to compensate the student with double the lesson value as if it were an unexcused absence.

Can students take lessons without wearing a helmet?

A: Yes.

B: No. All students must wear helmets during lessons. If a student refuses to wear a helmet, the instructor has the right to refuse the lesson. No refunds will be provided for the session.

How should I inform a student/parent if they cancel or want to reschedule a lesson at the last minute?

A: To protect instructors' time and personal rights, students must communicate with customer service at least 48 hours before the lesson to reschedule. Changes made between 48-24 hours will incur a deduction of half the lesson fee. Cancellations or changes within 24 hours are non-refundable.

B: If the student/parent communicates privately with the instructor and the instructor agrees, the lesson can be rescheduled without a penalty.

If a student who purchased a lesson through me wants to cancel, will there be a penalty?

A: No, they can be refunded directly.

B: Refunds cannot be returned to the original payment method. Instead, they will be processed via EMT, with a fee of CAD $20 + 5% of the payment amount per refund. • Refunds are available within 24 hours of payment (if the lesson is more than 72 hours away). • No refunds will be issued after 24 hours. Purchased lessons can be used during the current snow season or the next snow season. • Cancellations or changes on the day of the lesson will not be refunded. • Rescheduling is allowed only in cases of extreme weather resulting in ski resort closures.

Can a student midway through a lesson switch to another student to finish the session?

A: No, the lesson can only be attended by the originally scheduled student.

B: Yes, but the instructor must ensure the new student completes the TXSNOW waiver before continuing the lesson.

Is teaching mandatory to join TXSNOW?

A: Yes, teaching is required to join.

B: No, you can take a relaxed approach to teaching or even choose not to teach. TXSNOW also serves as a platform for instructors to connect with like-minded peers.

What can TXSNOW points be redeemed for? (Multiple choices allowed)

A: End-of-Season Reward: The top 10 instructors with the highest points and at least 15 five-star reviews will receive a free Ikon Base Pass.

B: 3,500 Points: Redeemable for a half-hour video shoot with TXSNOW’s chief photographer, Gavin Lu.

C: 2,500 Points: Redeemable for one free instructor training session.

D: 1,500 Points: Redeemable for a pair of Demon United magnetic snow goggles.

E: 1,000 Points: Redeemable for one professionally edited photo by Gavin Lu (redeemable during Gavin’s scheduled photo shoots).
